Default Wheels Question/Thoughts

Ok, having owned my car for just under 3 weeks now, I'm mapping out where I want to go and be with it. New wheels are a MUST (no offense to the wagon wheel lovers). My favorite so far is the Hyper Silver C6 ZO6 wheels that a few vendors sell, but now comes the question.....

17x8.5 w/18x9.5 or go one larger and put the 18x9.5 and 19x10's on it, or even same size front/rear I.E. 18x9.5 at all four corners??? Crud flats will NOT be returning, most likely GSD-3's or something comparable.

So which size combination and why??

I have 18's at all four corners and like the way the car looks and feels.
18x9.5 fronts with 265/35 GS-D3's
18x10.5 rears with 295/35 GS-D3's

This setup also keeps the approximate 1" front to rear stagger that C5's are designed to have.

(FYI: Sig picture is of the car with OEM 17 & 18's)

Cool, thanks for the reply. Right now I'm leaning towards the 17/18 setup unless I can get confirmation from one company that what they're touting as Hyper Silver is indeed that and not just competition grey.

Anyone else care to chime in?

I run 18 x 9 1/2 with 275/35/18 on the front and 18 x 11 with 315/30/18 on the rear and really like the stance and the way they look

Keep in mind that new generation runflats are a completely different beast. I have them on mine and so far (+/- 500 miles) I love them.

Much quieter, much smoother, improved grip and handling all in one. I went from non-runflat fronts and runflat backs and it is a world of difference.

I'm not saying runflats are the way to go, just that you open up that option if you go 18/19.

Shameless plug!!!!!! I was already looking at those as a "get me through" until I can get the ZO6 wheels.

As for the run-flats, I'm quickly learning they're much improved. I'll look into them when the time comes.
