Name your torque Converter
And how long you have had it. Also, I would like to know if you had any issues with your TC. I am going with a 2800 Yank to go with my H/C on the 9th at 21st Century Muscle Cars.

Haven't gotten around to naming my TC yet, but current contenders are "Rueben", "Monty" and "Bridgette".
Nice avatar, by the way. "Freddy's Dead" was a cool song.

Wow, I thought it was bad enough that some guys here were naming their cars.
Is the slush box crew going to start naming smaller parts now???

Yank 2600. Wish I had gone with a bit higher stall, maybe a 3000 or 3200.

Have a Vigilante 2800 stall . Flashed to 4000 on the dyno during my pulls. Great for launching at the track , great drivability around town.

I also have the Vigilante 2800, the heavy duty output shaft, and Kooks LT headers. My local tuner told me that the Vigilante 2800 was about the equivalent of the Yank 3200. Either way, I am very pleased with my current set-up.

Dosen't really feel much different than the stock converter. The only time I can really feel it is on WOT. Maybe I was just expecting something more? What I really need is a M6 but the wife wouldn't let me get one because she refuses to learn manual tranny. (I know, I know. "Yea she can't drive my car.") The best change I made was going from 2.73s to 3.42s. That change actually made it feel like i had more power!

Yank SS3600 and it's great!
I had the 3200 before this but it just was not big enough. When I launch now, it's like being shot out of a cannon.

I have noticed that at times, when cruising on the highway in lower rpms, the car does hunt a little bit, but nothing major.
