Help with assembling 410 gears.

Have 01' Z06 vette that i recently swapped out the 342 gears for a set of 410's and need help with setting up the gears for assembly and adjustment. Any suggestions? and has any one does this yet? thanks.

Ummmm... Could be trouble. I heard you needed like $1500 dollars worth of special getrag tools to properly set up a rear. Maybe someone else can confirm this??

ekk well i have the stock gears out but assembled the 410 gears but do not know how to set them or what kind of settings and procedures need done. thanks gregg..

Man I don't know what to tell you. I'd let a pro reassemble it if it was my rear. Backlash and shimming and all that crap, not worth a whining rear and possible damage if you get it wrong.

I agree with Cobra on this one. You can try posting the question on the autocross section, they usually have something about rearends on there. I would hunt down a pro set backlash and shimming.
