Default Anyone elses wiper "Delay" wired backwards?

Since I've never seen this posted, I was wondering if anyone else's delay switch for the wipers is wired backwards?

In every other car I've ever had/driven, the smaller hash marks means less delay, but in my car, its backward. How hard would it be for me to rewire? Pull the column switch out and resoldier? or worse?

All of ours are like that as far as I know. I noticed it years ago on my
'99.

BTW, I operate mine by: Forward = less delay, Rearward = More delay. I'm used to it. I don't even look at the pictogram.

Yup, its reversed alright. I think of it as- little mark = little bit of rain = long delay. bigger mark, bit more rain = shorter delay.

I think of it as "little mark, little wiper action; big mark, big wiper action."

Of all the cars I've ever driven (probably in the realm of 25 or so) small hash marks = less delay and so on... It bugs me too...mine is a daily driver and I live in S. Florida so we get our share of rain. I've learned to accept it but it DOES SUCK!!!!
