Default Vacuum? - (help)

I wanted to add a vacuum guage but cannot find WHERE on the engine (LS1) to tap for vacuum.

There's the vacuum canister behind the passenger fender but I can-not find the source?

Any help?

The vacuum source is directly behind the motor. There is a small black plactic vacuum tube running from the source to the cannister in the rt. fender. The tube is hidden in the wire loom directly below the battery tray. Remove the bat tray, open up the wire loom and you'll find the vacuum line.....Good luck....

THANKS - it was pointing to the canister but couldn't be sure. It looks like I may have to tap it near the canister but I'm going to try near the HVAC vacuum line first. Thanks Again...Tony
