Goodyear tire question.

Anybody know the new tire tread depth on Goodyear Eagle F1 GS EMT'S ?

i'll be embarrased to wonder this but do other brands have different tread depths? will check out a few on tirerack. bub

dont be embarrased but the answer is yes... 11/32 on the rear EMt's is higher than most other manufacturers with the same sized tires.. EMT's also have a very wide contact patch compaired to other tire brands. Tire width on the rears can vary buy as much as an inch and a half for the some sized tires.

Goodyear runflats are extremely wide for their size, look at this

Here are the widths from Tire Rack:
The tread width is even wider than the 295 Z06 tires, here are the specs (tread width)
-Goodyear F1 GS EMT (275) 10.3 inches
-Goodyear Z06 (295) 10.2 inches
-Firestone (275) 8.6 inches
-Goodyear F1 GS D3 (275) 9.4 inches
-Goodyear F1 GS-2 EMT (285, 19 inch diameter) 9.2 inches
