Default Need Help - fumes!!??

well, i stupidly filled her to the brim with Sonoco's finest the other
day... only now, having driven for 3 hours afterwards with no issues,
the next day I am overpowered (not quite but its DEFINATELY 'something) with gasoline vapors in the cabin

i suppose something has worked itself loose, anyone have a similar dilema? top down driving will get me a day or two, but i probably cant add more gas till i sort it out, (if i have pulled the hose from the inlet spout, id just be pouring gas into either the body cavity or worse, i expect)

scenario 1: fuel filter, ill have a look tonight or in the morning to see if i can locate it while underneath and check if its damaged / leaking

scenario 2: dropped/dislodged fuel spout - how difficult is it to remove the left rear qtr panel?
- do mutiple pieces need to come off (say the bumper or the running-board area under the door)? ie, do any pieces overlap, underlap with the rear qtr panel so that removing it is more than simply locating the 30+ torq? heads and undoing the little bolts?

scenario 3: i overfilled it, some spilled out, it will dryout soon enough

thots?

pics or tips appreciated....

Thankyou very much,

Freestyler
