Default led install question

I just installed leds in the rear view mirror lamps and in the rear cargo courtesy lights. The ones that are supposed to come on when you open the door. After installing these leds with resistors, they worked for a while and now they dont come on. The ones in the mirror come on with the switches on the bottom of the mirror, but not when you open the door. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. The only thing I could think of is the mini fuse relay (#42) for courtesy lamps under the passanger kick panel.
Has anyone done this installl, any help??

There should be no issues with your LED's in the trunk, doors or anywhere else you may have put them.

For some reason on the ones I put in the mirror (2000 model), it originally had bulbs, light a dome light bulb - looks like a big fuse. I used 7 LED's (blue) on each side, and have no problem with them coming on when I open the door, or am sitting inside. If the ignition is on the mirror switches will turn on and off the rear view mirror lights. If ignition is off and I then try to use the map light switch, then they come on but are very dim.

I have no idea why this is. Have not thought this one through all the way yet.....
