I would have to say, that this kit for the front and rear fascias is the worst product i have ever bought! The rear section just does not go on correctly with all the contours....Has anyone attempted this product and had any success. Mine after 4-5 hours ended up in the garbage.
Sorry you had trouble. I thought that mine turned out pretty damn good to be honest, as did other folks that saw it. I spent almost 5 and 1/2 hours installing the 7 pieces that make up the rear lower fascia. It might help that I have experience applying industrial vinyl. Here are my photos.

It sounds like you did most of what I would have recommended. The vents are the worst part (the weakpoint in the design in my opinion.) I spend a lot of time over several days with a hair dryer and just my fingers heating (lightly) and working the vinyl around the bends and into the vent radii. This was the area on my car that looked the worst over time. The nice thing about this material is that you can crease it pretty flat and that's what I ended up doing in the vent areas where I couldn't get it "quite right". It wasn't easy and my install wasn't perfect I just found ways to better hide the imperfections. A little trick was to use pieces of the extra vinyl that I had for around the third break light and make strips of patches to put over some of the imperfections. I wish you had had better luck as I know how much effort Vince (forum member VStella invented this product and licensed it to PFYC.) put into this up front to make it right. He had a lot of insight into tips and tricks for the install in the beginning.
I've been looking at these for a while now. Finally descided to get it, and the pfyc.com website says the lower isn't available anymore! The lower rear only, the other 2 are still available. Anyone know why?
I had mine done at a pro-paint shop for $250... I chose my own color (dark gray metallic) & and had the car back in 3 days. I own a professional graphic/sign shop but prefer the seamless look of paint over a patchwork of difficult to apply vinyl... and I know how to apply the stuff ! To each his own.
