Rub it on with some elbow grease. By the time you get finished with the fourth tip the first one will be all white & foggy. Buff it off and it'll shine great for about two days. Rinse-repeat.

For the exhaust tips, Mothers Polish will work well. For the engine bay, some Simple Green will get the dirt/grease out.
