The only announced functional change that I recall is retuning of the rear shocks, which
improves handling and reduces the "freeway hop" evident on the '01. They also supposedly
improve initial launch characteristics.
I may be mistaken, but I think the stabilizer bar links are alloy. The bars themselves are still steel. Nevermind...I'm not mistaken...i just checked mine. They are definitely still steel. As far as I know the only change is in the rear shock valving.
This has been discussed in depth on the other forum after I had a chance to drive FUBU's EB '02 Z06.
The only chages for '02 are the new rear shocks and Aluminum front and rear stabilizer bar links and that's it. the links are for weight saving purposes and offers no performance increase.
I was so impress with the ride over my '01 that I have ordered the '02 rear shocks. details later.
Don

Stabilizer bars are now alloy. Don't have specifics. Sorry.
