Dash toupe users...
I was thinking about getting a toupe for my dash
a couple of questions if I might:
First - are you happy with yours?
Does it increase reflective sun glare?
If not, I would assume that it reduces the reflective glare from the large HUD bezel since the hole for the HUD seems smaller than the size of the projector glass plus the bezel (in other words - the tuope seems to cover the bezel).
thanks in advance.

Or an even cheaper fix without the dreaded "Corvette Tax" would be polarized sunglasses. Knocks the glare right away, and they won't hold the dust!

Yeah...but this way it kinda protects the dash from the sun - making the surface ripple by baking the vinyl and the material directly under the vinyl...especially along edges.

IMHO all the dash rugs simply make your car look like a dork. I would go the polarized sunglasses route.

Does any user have any actual feedback on the dash rugs?

I am glad to see my comments didn't upset you. Sorry, but I don't have any experience with the mats.

My C5 has one like the black one pictured with the logo. There is no glare from the dash. It doesn't collect any dust if you know how to operate a vacuum.

Thanks owl.
I figured if I got one I'd put it on with velcro instead of double sided tape so I could remove it for vacuuming. I'd also stick the side of the velcro that goes on the dash on my jeans a couple of times so it wouldn't adhere 'too' well to the dash for total removal (for car shows and stuff).

A toupe looks like a toupe no matter where it's placed.
An ineffective cover up.

I think he was makin' fun of you. And he said your mother wears army shoes.
As far as the polarized glasses go...don't they make it harder to see the HUD?
