help with tire sizes
I just bought a set of 18x9.5 inch rims. I would like to use my rear stock tires for 2 of them (275/40/18) what size would you guys recommend for the front? Any help is appreciated.

while this won't answer your question directly, tirerack.com does an outstanding job listing all tire specs online. What I routinely do is call up the information on the stock tire sizes in the Goodyear section (under the heading specs) and they list the diameter size and the wheel sizes that will fit that tire, and then I compare them with the manufacturers that I'm considering purchasing. For example, I know that the stock C5 tires sizes have a one inch difference between the front and back diameters. I'll try to hold that one inch difference even if I wanted to deviate from the stock sizes.
Regardless, tirerack.com's information is invaluable for this kind of comparison. It'll take a little research on your own, though.
