Well, I'm half way through my third summer with my '04 LMB vert. The rock chips on my beautiful car are getting to me, so I'm wondering what to do.
They are worst along the rocker panels. I think I will have them repainted and covered with the 3M treatment.
Inside the front and rear wheel wells, there is more erosion, and I'm not sure what to do about that. In the latest Mid America catalog, there are a variety of shields and protectors, but I'm not sure I want the mud flap look.
Lastly, on the hood and front facia, where dings are most visible, I wonder if there is a touch-up treatment I can use, or should I find a good paint shop.
I imagine lots of us deal with this, and I'm wondering what people are doing.

Sorry that I can't help you with the chips, but I can tell you the 3M stuff is the way to go. I put the Xpel (3M) kit on my '04 vert shortly after I bought it. There was enough left over to do the rockers and painted inner fender lips. 24K miles later (and I live on a dirt road ), and I have 0 chips anywhere.
