2003 Purchase Help

Hi:

I'm considering purchasing a 2003 Z06 with 22K miles. Is there anything I should be cautious of?

I bought my '03 with 24k miles and have not had a problem in the 9k miles I have put on it in 6 months. Just do your homework. Most kinks were long worked out by the 2003 models.

I just picked up my '03 Z about 4 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with it. Great car! Check the history and give it a thorough look over before buying. Good luck.

I have a '03 and you need to be very CAUTIOUS of that new big smile thats gonna be plastered all over your face.... Congrats....

I believe midyear forward, 03's have steel shift forks. Earlier models are aluminum and have been known to bend. Late models may have top mount batteries also as they were changed for '04. The fuel filter was moved inside the gas tank somewhere along the way, not sure when.
