Default Stretchy Storage Net

I have a 99 coupe and aquired a black Stretchy Cargo Storage Net designed to install across the bulk head at the back of the hatchback area to hold stuff ............at least I think that is where it installs. Got it from www.geneskarshop.com

I can locate hold downs on the side access doors for the bottom of the net near the floor level, but where do I attach the top of the net?

Or do I have this cargo net in the wrong location

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Not sure on the coupe. Mine's in the vert and goes right under the lid of the trunk at the back. Please take my advice and don't get the darn thing stuck in the latch with a kid's backpack buckle attached to it. You will play heck getting it apart! Don't ask me how I know.

The top hooks are directly up from the bottom hooks, underneath the lip of the trunk. It's kind of hard to get the net hooked on them because they are upside down.

When i got my car had a heck of a time getting that darn net to go where i wanted it to go so i went back to the dealer and he put it on in a minute and i am handy and could not get the stuped thing on and you know what i have never taken it off for fear i will never get it on again. But i do like it when i go to the store and put things in the net nothing rolls around the car its the best. And when i take the roof over you can still leave the net in place when you store the roof in the deck of the car the net does not interfer with the roof hooks ups at all.

Just run your hand up along the bottom of the trunk lip and you should find them there.

Default Mounts are missing their "nuts" ;^)

Thanks to all,

I can locate the threaded mounting studs, but the studs are missing their "nuts" ;^) on both sides.

I tried the black plasic nuts from the lower side studs and the thread on fine.........but that leaves me missing two nuts to catch the upper parts of the net

Anyone know of a vendor that would have these nuts ?

Thanks again,

Jim

OK, Problem solved at Home Depot

Two 6mm wing nuts and two 1/4" fender washers take the place of the upper "nuts". Can't be seen and work fine

Thanks to all

You'll probably have to buy a 5 pack (I did). Let me look at home to see if I can find my "extras". If so I'll send you two of them.
