After unloading and assembling the unit I have to say it's a well designed and manufactured piece of equipment that will last for years.
The overall quality is superb, everything that comes with it matches the effort put into the design. The powder coating covers all surfaces well and it assembles quickly without issues.
Here's how it arrived in the back of my truck, over 600 pounds worth!
Nice. I'm thinking about either going that route or with a hydrolic lift. I just bought a house here in TN with a 2 car garage. Now I need to get it ready to cage the beast haha.
I see you put the anti skid tape on. Here's another tip to get perfect alignment.
I took and old white sock and filled it with weighted material and tied it with a string then hung it (attached to ceiling) directly over my windshield centered on my HUD. Now when I drive up the ramps I always use that sock as a guide for alignment up the ramps and when it just touches the windshield I'm in the right place. I also outlined the outside perimeter of the ramp feet with, in my case red duct tape, so that I know the ramps are always in the same place.
Be careful opening your hood with that low ceiling and for that mater, watch leaving your trunk or hood open if your going to jack up your C5 further. Don't do like I did and forget that my hatch was open and it hit the ceiling making a couple of chips in the paint on the edge.

Hanging a Tennis Ball with fishing line would be better
I have the quik lift about a year its great no problems. The 1 thing I did was put a door mirror on the wall right in front of lift so I could watch the tires as I drove up the ramp.

My wife tends to crowd the garage wall, so I used a plastic practice golfball on a line. It makes a good clack on the windshield as an additional reference.
Otherwise, the Kwiklift looks awsome!
anti skid tape.... DOH! Now that is a good idea!
Did KwikLift start including that with their lifts?
Or did you buy it separate? If so, where?!?
Unfortunately Kwiklift doesn't included it with the kit. I think it's a very important feature to include. For the price you pay for a Kwiklift ramp you'd think it would be included.
I bought a couple of rolls at Lowes. It's an exterior quality anti-skid tape and went on nicely and costs just $10 per roll.

I agree it should have been included! And thank you for the tip!
