I have a buddy running a set of 5.3L heads, not sure if they are milled, but I don't think that the compression will be an issue. I recommend posting this question on LS1TECH or in the TECH section. You will find the really hardcore folks there and they will be able to give you a better answer to your question.

R,

They will raise the compression, even without milling. IIRC, the chambers are 59cc. They have smaller valves (exhaust only, I think) and the ports will need work to equal LS1 flow. A set off worked over 5.3L heads might help, but stock, no.

2 things...

number one... you posted this in the wrong section. try posting in "TECH" as you might get a little more help over there.

2nd thing.... as much as i love this forum... i find technical questions are best answered over at ls1tech.com. lot more "technical" knowledge over there.
