Lost chance at Z06
I'll try to keep this story short. Someone I work with (female just loves Nascar - car nut) got a call today that had her head spinning.
She has loved vettes her whole life and after seeing my 04 CE, she said I'm going to get a Z06 one day mark my word. She already has a Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo SS in the garage. Anyway, she uses a local dealership (owner is a friend) and they did everything they could to get their hands on a new Z06 (505hp) but couldn't land one. I felt so bad for her since she wanted it so bad. Well, after giving up she decided to get a Cadillac STS-V (469HP) and leased one (not too shabby). She's had it only about 1 month.
Well she received a shocking call today that has her head spinning. The same dealership finally landed a new Z06 (black). I can't believe how much this has affected me and its not even my problem. lol Anyway talk about crappy timing. I guess its a problem I'll never have......having to worry about which $100,000 Cdn. car to keep or unload. lol
I feel for her, its a nice car and I was hoping to bring another onboard (even thought its a 06)........

The STS-V is not too shabby a car in its own right. Sure its not a Z06, but sometimes timing is everything.

Either one is a wonderful car, and she'd probably take a beating one month into a lease. That it a tough decision, though. I'd have to try for the Z.
