Default Finally got a Halltech Stinger!

Well after a big mixup with fedex , I finally received my Halltech Stinger intake yesterday. I bought it from forum member VetteNoob, great guy, great price.

One thing I thought that was weird, I have the red Stinger but it came with a red silicone coupler. All the pictures I've seen showes the red bridge with a black silicone coupler. I really prefer the black coupler if anyone wants to swap.

Anyways, there's a slight sotp performance increase. Great product, I'm very pleased with my new intake!

I've got a Stinger on my Z. Great intake for the $. I switched out the red bridge for a silver BBK bridge to go with the theme in my engine bay. I did the cold air mod, which added a bit more getty up. But it gets your engine compartment dustier though. I guess everything has it's draw backs. But all in all, a good intake.

Just make sure you tighten everything down, otherwise you'll pull a lean code. Until i did the cold air mod and had the car tuned, it would come up every 2 weeks. And i pulled a MAF code once, cause some of the filter oils got on the circuitry of the MAF. I cleard the code, hasn't come back since.
