Default Parade rider question

My car will be in a local parade on July 4th. Its a convertible. How many people,or weight, can the top hold? I need to carry 2 people, a adult and child, total weight probably 250 lbs. Would this cause any damage to the car? Thanks for any help with this.

I've had 1 person several times, but never 2. I have a big Micro Towel for them to sit on and a pad for the feet. It hasn't hurt anything yet, just wondered what the weight limit would be. Thanks for the replys, much appreciated!

Watch out for girls or women in high heels, don't let them step into the front seat, they will punch through the leather in your front seat with their heels.

what are you crazy???

You might get a cracked deck and then the adult will think they are fat. Just a chain reaction of problems.

Its a vette, not a float!

Default Parade???

Make sure they wear golf shoes and rivited blue jeans and bounce up and down a lot.Might want to give em a big slurpee to spill too.Seriously, I wouldn't let anybody sit on the Vette, let ONE wave from the passenger seat. Chuck.

You guys are . The shell is made of the same material as the rest of the car. It will not hurt a normal person to sit on the vert shell. Wife and I sit on ours all the time.

The NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame parade in Canton, Ohio
use Corvettes every year for the Pro Football Players.

Here's a pic. of one, looks like he might weight 300 or more lbs.
