Do You reall need a box? The space is perfect for a 10" or 12"
subwoofer. All you need is the top lid to hold the sub. Many have
done this mod and it sounds great.

JL Audio has already engineered a Stealth Box to fit the center well i the C5 corvette. Check their web site. Why build when you can buy! If I remember, the cost was about $500. The install was very easy!
