I am currently in the process of creating a car show sign board. The sign is going to be 18"X24". I am having trouble with the resolution when I get it printed that size, the image appears washed out. Would some one be able to resize it to 18"X24" and get the resolution cleaned up? What do you think about the layout, other suggestions?
Thanks for your help
Bob
You can't "res-up" an image to 18x24 and expect good quality... you really need to start with a much bigger, better file. Do you have the original pic? If so, start with that and like the previous poster said, you'll have to re-do the type. Good luck!
personally i would go with something a little more decorative.........but thats just me.
What kind of style are you looking for???? I made this sig pic for a friend of mine over on the Svtforums (we could use the same style for yours........just make it bigger with more information and such)

You'll need a much higher resolution picture for it to look good at that size.
Also your text is going to look bad. You'll need it overlayed once it's blown up to the size you want.
or you can just make the image the right size in photoshop then transport it to Illustrator for all the texts (but yes you are right about a high res pic.................it is a must for large photos) HOwever you can manipulate smaller photos some. Frequently ploting on 4' printers has its advantages
then you wont have to worry about things like that

You cannot come in here and tout credentials like that and NOT post some thumbnails!!
To post pics you'll need to host your images somewhere then post here with img tags around it.
