Default What a day...

First off.. thank you to however owns the yellow C5 with the colored gauge cluster ... you inspired me to do some work today! (about 12 hours with a detail and interior work)

I'll get some better pix during the day to show the results better, but I have to say I'm happy I painted the cluster and surround MSG... me likey!

Also, put LED's in my (Half red/half white) Vac/Boost and (Super white) Fuel Pressure gauges

I also noticed the how the clear plastic covering the gauges had a film on it Just came back from a midnight mission and WOW! the cluster looked awesome. Just another maintenance item every year or so from now on

Lookin good Dave, love the LED's in the interior!! Now as for the LED's under your knee bolsters, you should shave down the tips to get rid of the beam of light projecting from them... Sorry to rain on your parade!!

Oh, gauges look great BTW!!

No worries bro--- your input is always welcome Thanks for the props...

I actually did the focus beams on purpose because the black carpet absorbs most of the light and I kinda liked the way I could actually "see" the blue of the light... I like the way it lights up my white tennies ...

BTW, What the heck? Are we having a late night crew check? Haven't had one of those in a loooong time...

Dave

Dayum Dave,

You don't mess around do you. The car looks nice job on the white/red LED install - I love the look. I can't believe you ripped apart your dash to paint it. Man, I wish I had some nerve sometimes.

Looks awesome. I really like the blue LED mod. I'm gonna have to do that one of these days. I may contact you for some how-to advice if you don't mind.
