First road trip
I went on a 4-day golf trip to Central Oregon last weekend. On the way there we had a half hour for breakfast, the restaurant too over an hour. I got back on the highway and "jumped on it" a little. 
Next thing I see in my rear-view mirror was a new Mustang Mach1 with red/blue lights! 
John Law informed me that if he chose to cite me, with the speed I was going (~70), and the "aggressive acceleration" I exhibited the fine would be $639!! I explained that I just took possession of the vehicle and after driving an F-150 for 12 years I wasn't familiar with how quickly the car would get up to speed. To make a long story short, he let me go with a warning saying that with the kind of car I had it was "highly visible" and I should slow down. I thanked him and went on my way. That was the first time in my entire life that John Law gave me a break.
