I bought a 2001 Torch Red coupe on May 6, drove it home and removed the top. I haven't had it on since! I had one close call when I j-u-s-t made it into my garage as a deluge started, but the weather in Atlanta has been mostly dry since the purchase. As this is my first open car I've been enjoying it immensley.
It was raining at lunch so I finally installed the top. Tropical storm Alberto has ended my fun at 37 days. Geez it was nice!
congrats, that sounds like a blast! We've been getting some of that crappy weather down here too. Thankfully it won't last too much longer and the roof can come back off!
I'm ashamed to say that I've had my C5 coupe over 6 months and have never had the top off (and I live in southern California). Is it hard to do? I'm afraid if I take it off I may never put it back on !
>>Is it hard to do?
No. Rotate two latches on the front header then pop the rear center release. Lift the front and pull slightly forward. Turn it 180 degrees (the rear part is now facing forward) to fit it into the hatch.

I see a trend starting!

You're lucky to have great weather, we've been pretty lucky to in TN too. Now, I'd better go take my top off and get a ride in before the dark clouds come in! (I'll stick it in the back of the car, not the trash can though )
p.s.-I'm surprised you didn't trade your NSX for a NSX-T!

About 10K more plus don't forget I owned an NSX for 14 years. Life's too short to sing one tune the entire time! Forza torque!
