I know I saw an ad for these somewhere. I've done a search with no luck and I've gone through all of the vendors with no luck.
I'm looking for the type that snap into place and you can leave them in place w/o removing them. I'm not talking about the billet aluminum design or the black rubber (?) with the metal molded insert. If anyone can suggest a source, please advise. Thanks!

Jack pads
you can get them at a BMW parts dept part#51-71-1-960-752
I forgot to remove one of my billet ones a few weeks ago after an oil change. Lucky I was ony going 10 mph when it dropped off and it still made a helluva racket bouncing under the car and in the wheel well.
Great! Thanks for that part number. I found them at BAVARIAN MOTORSPORTS (found a link via a search for a previous discussion) @ $6.95 each plus shipping.
Search Corvette Pucks at eBay. I got mine delivered for less than $20. They are just a tool, I don't need them to made out of gold. If you are a racer that has the car jacked up 6 times a weekend, then billet could be justified.
I previously found the homemade hockey puck and eye bolt design on EBAY. I could make those easily for about $10.00, but they won't stay in place on the road. That design is something else to carry in the trunk when not in use. It's something to fall off and possibly do damage.
This BMW design is exactly what I was looking for...with no additional weight or space required.
I've had a set (4) of those BMW pucks installed for about a year now. No problems. I just leave them in. I do go to the track and autox so I lift the car alot. When I don't feel like slipping a jack w/2x4 under the front or rear frame I just use the pucks to lift it. They work just fine and don't look any worse for the wear. I've also had the car up on jack stands on all 4 corners using those pucks. They seem to take the abuse.
