God it feels good!
Well today was the first day of summer vacation for me, I'm in high school, so I thought my father's vette looked a little less then perfect. Spent 6 hours cleaning that baby up. Washed, Waxed, Interior was cleaned, Vacuumed, Leather conditioned and cleaned, wheels polished, door jams cleaned, under the hood was done, and the exhaust tips are polished. It looks fantastic. My dad hasn't seen it this clean in quite a while and as payment, he let me take the vette out for a couple of hours. It was great. I'll post pic tomorrow as it was to dark to take them when i finished and went for a ride. Just thought I'd share a good cleaning story. You guys are great and I love to lurk on here learning more about vettes then my dad, but don't tell him that.

You spent six hours cleaning the car and your dad is going to let to take it out for a couple of hours ? I think at the very minimum he should let you take it for as much time as you spent on it!

Ahhh, Syracuse. My home town for 21 years. Dewitt area is where I grew up and went to school. Great thing you did for your dad. Hope its in the garage now with all the rain heading your direction.

Syracuse! I grew up in the Thousand Islands just north of you! Wish you could come and clean my car thoroughly! You are very thoughtful to clean your dads car. He should let you have day with the car and your favorite girl.

Wow, 6 hours!!! I remember having(taking) the time to do that when I first bought mine! I'll have to set some time aside and give my baby some tlc soon, just like the 'old days.'
