OK, I'm leaving for Detroit in one hour, and then on to Bloomington Gold tomorrow night. My wife wants the liner, or opague roof shade insert placed up in the plexiglass sunroof, because she thinks she will get too hot in Chicago. Yeah I know, air conditioning, but shes blonde.
My question: How do you get it up there, easily? The key word here is easily. There are several plastic tabs that fit into the surrounding frame, to hold it in place. Do you put it in after you put the roof on, or what?
I bought a couple if those cheap rollout, suction cup attached, shades at Wally World and stuck en to the glass. Works great and you can remove them at any time.
Its the kind you can put on the side windows on a sedan. They were 8 or 9 bucks.

Yeah, I have one of those also. I don't know where this insert came from, but it seems custom fit for the top. Perhaps it is a GM product. Just wish I knew of an easy way to get it placed in the top.
