I'm looking around for rotors. Why is it everyone is investing $1k+ in those Baer Eradispeed Two piece rotors? Are they bigger rotors? I hear they are 14" in the rear? That is definitely larger than my stock rotor. If they are larger than stock, how do they work w/ the stock caliper setup?

Hey Vec--
I have the +1 two piece Baers... I bought a brake package (2 piece front and rear, stainless steel, Goodrich brake lines, and Hawk pads) ...
The rear's calipers are mounted with a caliper adaptor that came with the rotors. I've had mine about 2 years. I can really feel the stopping improvement on wet roads.
The rotors are made with heavy duty materials... moreso than the less expensive ones.... also, with a 2 pieece, you can replace the rotor instead of the hub and rotor...
I asked Andy about the calipers and he told me they OEM ones are good.
Good luck ....
Just my $.02

Oh, I see.. the rears come w/ a bracket that allow you to fit a larger rotor. That makes sense. Are there any less expensive rotor manufacturers that have a large rotor setup w/ the bracket? I just can't justify $1000 for the Baer kit.
