Default i got it home

i drove the z 350 miles to get it home,,, and wow,, is a 2001 had 22,000 miles.. only mods,, are a twin intake air filter thing, and borlas,, and do not know what type just has the name on the pipes at the back,, but sounds so nice,, and is quiet at 75 and 80 on the interstate,,, i played around on the take off on ramps and such,, and this baby still got 29.1 miles to the gal.. just could not believe,,, it,,, this is about my 12 corvette,,, but the first z... i do not plan to sell this car... and will not have any else now,,,it just has power that never quits air cond. does not even effect it one bit... feels like the motor is off in 6 speed and just coasting on the interstate at 80. just an awsume car. and guess what,,, no top storage,,, no desicion as to top on top off,,,, no air leaks, no air noise,,, no messed up hair,,, and i would think no rain issues,,, all because the top does not come off.. lol i love it... just seems so tight,, if any one in my area that has a z,, let me know,, as lots of question s i would like to ask some one about these cars and maybe some tips on my driving,,,also,,, pics.. coming when i get it cleaned up... its triple black,,,

Conrgats!

no messed up hair
Always my first concern when buying a car Nothing worse than buying a car for $30k and THEN having to invest in a hat to prevent messed up hair

I'm just messin' with ya. Congrats on the Z! Enjoy!

Tha story is similar to when I bought my z back in August of '05. The ride home(I went past Boston from CT) simply wasn't long enough! I can see why these guys go across country to get their cars! The fun factor makes it worth it

ENJOY your new ride...and beware of MOD FEVER

Default thanks for the welcome

and yes the trip back did not seem far at all... was not tired,, and seat were good ,,,if u want a back ache drive a caddy,, with the extra soft mushy seats,, will give u one quick...
of course i was on a corvette z high... at the time,, so lets see if the new will wear off... DONT THINK SO.
