50K mile Tune Up
I have a 02 z06 w/ almost 50,000 miles on it. My question is, do you think their is any benefit taking my car to a stealership, to have a routine 50K mile maintaince done on it????. I live in So Cal. (Orange County) and if you feel it is necesary, does any know of a good tuner that does this kind of maintaince?? If you had it done what is a reasonable price??
Thanks.
Thanks.

I took my '03 A4 in to a Corvette specialty shop this past Thursday for similar maintenance (60K miles). Got the spark plugs changed, the brake fluid flushed and refilled, the rear end oil changed, and the car "gone over" in general. Was going to get the transmission fluid changed, but it didn't need it. Labor time was 4.5 hours for a total cost of about $420. The tips of the plugs were burned pretty bad (came to a point instead of being flat) and the car runs a lot smoother even though it seemed to run OK before ... just better now.

StuzVette has been tuned 4 times in 5 years and going in again for a change and a tune...
...really need to go to a good corvette guy in CA (not a dealership) to get a "tune"...
...all the dealership will do is change fluid and plugs...
Id refresh all filters and fluids and get a great dyno tune for more hp and optimal performance

Thanks for the input, but I forgot to mention that I had Andy at A&A corvette, put in a p1sc last year. So besides the radiator flush, the plugs and belts should be fine. Any other items that could be necessary??
