I built the ramps from Mike Mercurys plans for my 91 Vette , but now that the 91's gone I use them for my 98 Vette and didn't have any clearance problems with either one of them and I have plenty of room underneath for an old fat man like me to crawl around. I would highly recomend them!!!!! Thanks again Mike !!!!!!
Thanks, Mike. I think yours are the standard that all others are compared to , and if someone was starting from scratch, I would certainly recommend them. I really appreciate you taking the time to detail them so well and share. It is what inspired me to come up with this idea.
As a follow up, I would like to point out that my "additions" are bolted to the ryno's. I would not recommend anyone try to simply bridge the ryno's without securing them.
I'm going to be making some CEDAR Wood ramps next weekend. They will be 3.5 feet long and will have about an 8 degree angle. I need the wood ramps to get the car onto my 12' wide/12' long/3" high aluminum ramps. I use the 3" aluminum ramps (which replaced the 2 x 12's in these pics) to get over my mid-rise lift which requires 4.25" of clearance
