Hey, does anyone know anyone in NC that does this type of work, them having the parts and all? I have been looking forever to no avail in trying to get a black 01 vette with light oak interior. I think my only option now is to get a black on black and swap out the interior parts. I'm only worried if the end result will be "perfect".
ANYway, if anyone knows a good shop OR a good member who is up for this task, please post away.
For all the components you listed (carpets, seats, door panels, lower column dash panel, glove box, sill covers) are they mostly screws and bolts or do I need specialized tools.
Also, I was def. planning on swapping out the seat skins, how difficult are they to get on/off?
in a couple of months i will be starting on my 99 coupe and the entire interior is going to come out. i am going to be fiberglassing and a lot of other crazy stuff so the original color wont matter to me. depending on when i get started and how soon you want the tan we might be able to trade. ive got racing seats in it now so i wont need black seats.
