Borla "muffler-less" rear section.
I haven't seen a specific discussion on these and was wondering if anyone has experience with the Borla rear exhaust section that is just tubing and tips . . . particularly noise level and HP.
I have LGs, x-pipe, and high flow cats with stock TIs. Wanting a bit more noise and additional HP without adding significant weight.
These look like they would address my desires, but I suspect they might be stupid loud.

I have LG Pros, x-over, & cats with Stingers and they are plenty loud.
There is a small wieght increase with the stingers but it is really insignificant.
Although the stock Ti sounds great, the Stingers sound excellent.
At WOT all you hear is the exhaust. It's not crazy loud...but it is quite loud. The exhaust note is fantastic...nicely tuned.
The resonator systems like Bullets and the Race version Borla with the resonator are silly loud. This is not a bad thing, by the way. You just need to decide what you want...really loud or silly loud.
I chose really loud and I'm very happy with it.

D1 LS6, stock headers/cats, Magnaflow X, Borla hop overs to my custom pipes to the tip. Its loud, car sounds like a jet with the SC and I do have a sweet pop
