After years of searching, I finally found a Corvette TV commercial that I have been searching for. This one got pulled quicker than the young boy's dream got pulled. I don't know why it was pulled, but I suspect it was because it was a terrible commercial.
It started with a close up of the face of an obviously disappointed teenager. Then it showed a closeup of another obviously disappointed teenager. C5 lovers could tell they were sitting in a Corvette, but the public would have missed that. Within a few seconds they showed the Corvette was in a parade with a beauty queen sitting on the back waving to the crowds. Then we see the speedometer at 4 mph as one of the teenagers says "This is so wrong on so many levels" and finally we see the Corvette is in the parade behind a group of pigs!
I don't know how to attach the commercial, but I can either email it or if someone wants to post it, I will send it to them.
