Went out today, a great day it was. I decided to get up to legal speed on the ramp smartly, not illegally. Problem, stock runflat tires lost traction enough to start fishtailing. I wonder if I could get better traction with different tires. I am Searching on line, but I could use some advice.
Thanks

Judging from your profile - you more than likely still have the O.E.M. GY EMT's that came on the car. There are MANY choices that offer better traction than the O.E.M. tires. Several come to mind, including the Michelin PS2, the Goodyear GS-D3, the BFG KDW among others.
The O.E.M. tires - especially as they get past 1/2 tread (approximately 5/32" tread depth) start to demonstrate noisey behavior, as well as loss of traction. The tire by design tends to have a very stiff sidewall and hard tread compound.
You need to figure out how you plan to drive the car - do you track it? Do you drive in wet conditions? Is most of your driving highway miles? Do you drive aggressively or very easy? How much do you want to spend? Do you plan on keeping the car a while, and if so - is treadwear an important requirement? Do you plan any HP mods that will significantly change your traction requirements?
