Great Vette day!
Put Royal Purple in the engine and trans today.
While it was up on the hoist I asked him to lower it too since I just bought some wheels from Pace Her and when they go on I'm going to get an alignment.
It took a fair bit of driving for the car to settle, maybe 50 miles but it looks great now.
It's going to look awesome with my new chrome Z06 wheels that showed up when I got home!! By the way, Pace Her is great to deal with, shipped on Monday, wheels here today!
The transmission definitely shifts easier now. Reverse is much easier to hit and I thought I missed 2nd twice today because the familiar notch is gone.
45 bucks labor to change the engine and trans oil and lower the car. I supplied the oil.
Then, to top off the day, I took my buddies son to see "Cars" in the Vette. He really enjoyed the movie!
