That sucks and I know exactly how you feel...
I've had a couple of items damaged in shipment by UPS with the latest being my custom trunk lid a couple weeks ago.
They managed to bust one of the corners on it.
I've never had them warn me in advance so at least with them notifing you, it shouldn't be a problem getting it resolved....

You could always go to EG'S house, he needs lots of help and always has somthing going on. Probabaly even a few parts to sell you.

This was an SS cowl cover - bling...
and I did not get to the lawn yet - I tore the bathroom apart instead. If I can't mod the car, I'll mod the bathroom.

Yeah, I know how this feels. I shipped my Magnuson supercharger back to them for warranty work a couple weeks ago and the web site said something like, "DAMAGED. HANDLED PER SHIPPER INSTRUCTIONS". You can imagine my horror.
Luckily, it was box damage, not charger damage. Hope it works out similar for you.
