Default New Auto Shift **** - pics

Been looking for a new auto shift **** for my c5 and found this MOMO which I like a lot. Had to sand down the plastic on the shift rod to make it fit but it was not hard to do. Hope you like.

Looks great I bought the same one , but it sits much higher than yours does . did you sand down the plastic lip where the boot used to secure to ? or the whole plastic shaft? do you have pics? I like your install better. thanks

Yes I used a drill with a sanding disk and went down to the metal on the shaft all the way to the base where it widens out. I agree it was too high in the beginning.

Yes it does come in black and looks great on their web site. By the way I paid $83.00 on a web site that offered a discount off their list of something like $110.

If you sand off the plastic down to the metal you can get it quite low and use the chome piece on the bottom if you want.

Very nice.

I had put on an aftermarket ****. I found however, that it got hot after the car sat in the sun for a while...and sometimes I like to drive with my elbow on the console and my wrist draped on the auto shift ****. The stock **** was more comfortable and it didn't heat up so...back on it went.
