pass side window issue

pass side window issue
My pass side window gets stuck in the down position every once in a while what could be causing this and what is the cure.When this occurs pass.or drivers side buttons do nothing slaming the door works and messing with the buttons for a few minutes has worked this has only happened a few times I would like to fix it before im stuck with it in the down position in the rain most likely

I had this problem once and wiggling the wires between the door and the body fixed it.
However, it quit again and stayed quit. I had a secondary symptom that my right outside mirror was not working at all when the window failed. The Right outside mirror had been working but not quite right before the window quit.
The solution was a new switch in the driver's door. This was after my dealer (A Good One) spent a lot of time trying to find the problem. However, it quit again last week. It went back to the dealer and they put a new switch in under the repair warranty and paid for my rental car while we waited for the switch to come in.
If your right outside mirror is not working, it is your drivers door switch for sure.

I think you'll find this is relatively common. I did when I went through this. The problem with mine (and most I think) is the door control module. The one in the passenger side door was the culprit for me. I got one off e-bay pretty cheap and I think they are always on there.
