Default Do you have blue pipes?

The exhaut pipes before entering my mufflers on my stock titanium set-up are very blue in color. Is this normal for these?

When I had my stock titanium exhaust the tips were not blue but then again I cleaned them excessively. The blue-ish color is probally from heat. I used to use mother aluminum polish on the tips and that seemed to really clean them up. You should be able to get them free of that blue-ish color you describe.

Welcome to Titanium. Blueing is not unusual.

On my previous '02 Z and my current '02 Z the pipes (before muffler) were not blue (just normal metal color) until I ran each car on a roadcourse. After spending the day at 6000 RPM they turned a nice iridescent blue...

So whomever said "It's the heat" is correct...

Yea, the previous owner of my Z ran the car at a 3 day autocross event. Thats how it happened then, I'm sure. Cool, just wondering how many others had the same deal.
Thanks.
