purchasing a 2002 coupe
Presently own a 96' C4. I am in the process of purchasing a 2002 C5. Will have the LS1 engine with 30K miles. Need info on what to look out for on the 2002 VET. Problem areas, ignition, oil consumption, leaks etc.... Also what should I pay. By the way I am new to the group any help/advise would be appreciated.

Shouldn't have any oil consumption problems on the '02. Look to see if the column lock has been fixed (preferably through install of the bypass kit), rear differential seal leaks, and rocking seat problems. Other than that, normal things should be looked at.
