I sure don't know, but I would love to. That is the kind of thing to make you go bananas worrying about it. let's hope for a good tech, plus you might want to post this in tech.
happened to my 02 ...a couple days later after driving that night started fine in the am got the warnings then reduced power mode was on vacation so had to have it towed to the nearest dealer, long story short 4 days laterthey installed a new battery the glass mat battery was discontinued by gm ....no problems since
Any time something like that happens, the computer stores information to diagnose the problem - we call these Diagnostice Trouble Codes (DTCs) or just codes. By pressing a special sequence of dash buttons, you can have these codes played back for you. Here is a tech tip on how to pull the codes, and what they mean
had the same thing, all i had to do was tighten the battery cabels at the battery and i was good to go
A very important service reminder: Loose BAT connections may induce low voltage fluctuations which may then cause your your DIC to throw numerous trouble codes. Hence, do tighten all connections, BUT, also, check BAT for any leaks, then, clear codes. Low BAT voltage fluxations may cause everything from faintly readable A/C Radio controls, AH/TC, and, BCM trouble codes to the dreaded "Service Column Lock" DIC prompt.
I had the car go into low voltage condition a number of times which shuts the car down given the computer does not have juice to run.
This had to do with a racing setup where I was not getting enough charge from the alternator to keep the battery charged. Once corrected no further problems.
