Hello....noob on board.
Happy to join the Z community. Just purchased a 2002 Zo6 (electron blue, or something like that) with 15,000 miles, original tires, some really filthy K&N intake set-up, but other wise stock. Cost....35,000 bucks
So far I'v purchased the "divider/tray" combo, and a flat tire (goop and plug in air compresser, hope it works) limp home kit.
I have many questions and look forward to learning about this magnificent car.

Count yourself lucky. The dirtier they are the better they filter. Hold a clean one up to the light and you'll see holes large enough for sand particles to pass through.

Used to go by "scanman" (refers to my job, CT tech) but alot of other folks used that also. Changed to "Scatman" and yes, that refers to my early days as a musician.
By the way my wife loved EB and that's probably why we own the car today. I walked away the first time I checked the Z out at the dealer, said they wanted to much.
The wife offered to trade her car as a down payment, presto new Corvette. I'v got a good wife, who has driving privilages of course.
