I installed a Callaway Honker. I like it, but it's not cheap. The quality is great and it looks like it came from the factory.

I hear alot of good things about the vararam and honker, personally, I like the Halltech CAI's, they're easy to install (15-20 mins.) and you can feel them in your seat. Good luck with your choices

I also endorse the Honker, probably the highest quality unit out there. It also relocates the MAF close to the throttle body, as GM has seen fit to do on the C6. I'm sure this must also add to the outstanding hp gains the Honker produces.

The Halltech Stinger is popular, and with good reason.
1. It outflows the stock unit
2. It is easier to service

Chris (Z28STYLE23) has one in Z06 red; I have the black one on my car. It is simple to install. In fact, if you get one, I'll install it at the next Block of Orange meet, while you wait. Buy me a coffee and we'll call it even.
