custom ram air???

custom ram air???
anybody with a stinger, blackwing, or K&N style CAI do anything to get more air in there? seems like it just a tight hot compartment with not much air movement.

If you have a base C5, I would guess that adding a cold air screen would hep...it adds a free flowing screen to the area where the foglights are. Mine came with it...now I need a CAI to truly utilize it.

For quick and dirty wou can cut holes in your fog light surrounds to get some cold air in there. In addition you can make a custom box around the airfilter that encases the surrounds to "close" the system. EG and others have done this.

I've got a BLACKWING in my Z16/Z06. I lucked out and found a cold air enclosure from another member. I'll either cut a hole/screen in the shroud or swisscheese the shroud with multiple holes in a pattern, beneath the filter.
