I know it may be a bit early, but, who's planning on attending Corvettes at Carlisle this year? (8/25-8/27). I'm considering getting a "caravan" up from Florida and cruise up there.
hope you got a hotel room reserved already. otherwise you will have a long drive from one that is open.
Well, that's not a problem. I'm from that area originally. I have a brother that lives in Gettysburg ( 30 minutes from Carlisle). We'll being staying there and visiting family and old friends also!
I'll be there...heading to Penna next week. Just retired yesterday and now it's time to head back to see family , friends and attend the Little League World Series in Williamsport and go to Corvette in Carlisle. I will be in a O4 ZO6 Z16 with the big cheesin' grin on my face. Save the wave....Seeya there.
for those who have never been to carlisle for the show, you will see more corvettes of every generation, of every color, from every state than you have ever seen in your life. we live about 15 min from carlisle & when the corvette show is in town, every highway, street, restaurant, motel, gas station & more has more corvettes around than you could believe. it's worth it friends; do it at least once. bub

I only live 70 miles from Carlisle...and honestly I have been doing all 3 days for at least the last 10-15 years.... and hit the spring, fall and the Gm nationals at least for one day...PLUS if the weather is nice I do at least one day at the other shows,. including the F**d lol Heck a seasons pass is only like 70 bucks...
But getting a Hotel room 50 miles from Carlisle ...is NOT a problem PLUS the daily drive is FUN... To my knoweldge Carlisle itself only has one hotel
