Default Thankyou Corvette Forum!!

As some of you may seen my past threads about how my vette has a bad case of pistonslap and how it buged the pi$$ out of me,well a lot of you said to try a K&N oil filter and a thicker oil.well i did and viola!!!!
now dont get me wrong its still there but its a LOT QUIETER.I used to hear it slappin away when i was in my house, now you have to open the hood to hear it!!!!!!! i can live with that

i used mobil 1 10w-30. i had 5 in there and some folks said that changing to 10 would not help much on the ticking issue.but i think its the combo of changing to a thicker oil and a K&N filter that helped.
