Default Please Help!

I was on my way to Raceway Park yesterday and all of a sudden the gas guage went to empty...so I put some octane boost in and 30 min later the gauge went back to normal. After I gas up on the way home. It happens again. If I put some techron in does anyone think it will help? or is it goin to be a trip to the dealer?

Thanks
Dan

P.S. The car ran 12.21@118 it was about 80 degrees on the stock wheels with GoodYear Supercars.

Techron for most works real good. It might take a couple of times to work, mine was that way. Get a couple bottles and follow directions.

I had my 98 for 3 more years after the fuell tank incident with no problems. Put in a bottle every 8 tanks of fuel after that.

Try it is MUCH cheaper & MUCH better than going to MR Goodywench.

Default Could be trouble!!

My 99 C5 did just exactly what you describe. Thank goodness it was under warranty because the battery leaked unto the computer module mounted underneath the battery. The acid ate the module! This was only a problem with the OEM batteries. I hope I'm wrong!
